Calcium Carbonate
Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the formula CaCO3. It is a common substance found in rocks as the minerals calcite and aragonite. Industrially important sources include limestone, chalk, marble, and travertine.
The main use of calcium carbonate is in the construction industry, as a building material, aggregate, or cement component. Due to acid rain, it's less commonly used in its raw form and instead serves as a key raw material.
Rasa Vision Asia provides coated and uncoated calcium carbonate used in PVC pipes, fittings, profiles, cables, rubber, sealants, adhesives, SMC/DMC, paper, paint, ink, pharmaceuticals, and food industries.
